I just had a fun week working with Brad White (Square Pictures) and crew out at the Russo and Steele auto auction. I was managing the footage offload from our four Panasonic HPX2000s. We shot over four terabytes of footage over the four days (8TB backed up) and I used some of the down time to take a couple cool GoPro timelapses, which I’ll post here soon. On Thursday, my “day off”, I went over and shot at Barret Jackson for Discount Tire for a couple of hours on Keith’s Canon 5D. For quick interviews, you can’t beat the 5D, but I’m still not in love with DSLRs for my live event run-and-gun style of shooting. Nevertheless it was fun and some of the cars were just incredible (as to be expected). When I find out what network and time our reality segment from Russo and Steele is going to air, I will make another post or update this one.

I’ve got some editing to wind down January and I’m gearing up for a busy February with a new corporate client. Should be fun though.
